On the afternoon of November 8th, Sub-forum 1 of the 2025 Academic Annual Conference of the International Education Branch of the Chinese Society of Education—titled “Promoting the High-Quality Development of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education in the New Era”—was held in Wuhan. Organized by Central China Normal University, the sub-forum brought together leaders, experts, and scholars from well-known Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions nationwide to exchange insights on pathways toward high-quality development.
During the thematic report session, Prof. Luo Xiaobing delivered a presentation titled “High-Quality Development of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Under the ‘Dual Circulation’ Path.” He shared ICARE’s practical experiences and exploratory insights as a model of Sino-foreign cooperation. Prof. Luo explained that ICARE has actively built a “Dual Circulation” development path: on one hand, promoting the localized integration and innovation of international curriculum resources, and on the other hand, facilitating the international dissemination of engineering education models with Chinese characteristics. Meanwhile, ICARE has explored the integration and application of artificial intelligence in teaching, developing a more resilient model of international cooperative education, providing valuable references for high-quality Sino-foreign cooperation in the new era.

Focusing on the theme of “high-quality development,” the forum enabled ICARE to share its educational practices, exchange experiences, learn from peers, jointly explore sustainable development pathways for cooperative education, and contribute expertise toward building a strong education system.
